My Daytona experience – Sat 12th May 2012

Posted in: General, Racing News|May 14, 2012

We received the following email today and are pleased to share it with you:

Dear Daytona Milton Keynes

I just wanted to write and say ‘thank you’ for such a fantastic morning on Saturday 12th May.  I booked myself and a friend onto the 10am D40 event and we both had a fantastic time!

Being avid, amateur ‘karters’, we’d both been to numerous tracks previously and completed in a range of ‘arrive and drive’ and ‘GP’ sessions.  We travelled down from Worcestershire and the session we took part in at Daytona Milton Keynes outstripped anything we have taken part in previously and by some margin!

The online booking was easy, check in on the day was quick and all the staff were friendly, informative and quite obviously passionate about their jobs.  We talked with a couple of your team prior to the driver briefing who both gave us really useful info about the track and how to tackle each corner.  The briefing was also very good with plenty of information for anyone new as well as those experienced.

The biggest plus of the day had to be the track and the race itself.  We were both looking for a challenge, having scored very competitive times previously at tracks we knew and you’re track definitely fitted the bill!  Very fast and challenging with a lot of technical corners, it took me a good 20 minutes before getting into a ‘groove’.  I also enjoyed a good mix of competition, with the leader lapping me just before the end but being able to race competitively in the midfield, finishing a respectable 6th!  I can’t wait to come back and try to improve.

As a first time customer, I would without hesitation recommend you to anyone looking for the ultimate karting experience.  I can guarantee I’ll be back again, and I can’t wait!

Thank You

Anthony Andrews
